"Wide Boy" Expedition from Brussels to Moscow
On Thursday, 8 July 2010 two artists Lauren von Gogh and Anne Schiffer visited Gunter Grass Gallery in Gdansk. They are travelling through Europe ( from Brussels to Moscow) meeting artists, writers, curators, critics. discussing. Their intention along this journey is to make and collect objects referencing relevant daily interactions and intricacies of each particular place in relation to recent history of the countries in this region. Each stop will focus on interventions and performances relating specifically to the various identities of the nations ruled centrally by Moscow for decades. Their "collection" will be shown at "Qui Vive?" Moscow International Biennale for Young Arts" on 31 July 2010.

Opening of "Neighbours"

On Friday, 23 April 2010 we opened "Neighbours. Polish motifs in German contemporary art" exhibition at 4g. It will be opened until 28 May 2010. The exhitibion in CSW Łaźnia "Neighbours. German motifs in Polish contemporary art" will be opened until 23 May 2010.

Günter Grass - a honorary ambassador of ESK Gdańsk 2016!

Günter Grass agreed to become a honorary ambassador of Gdańsk's attempt to become European Capital of Culture in 2016 ( ESK 2016)! Other Gdańsk's ambassadors are : Lech Wałęsa and Vaclav Havel.
In the letter to Gdańsk's Mayor he wrote, that Gdańsk is and always was a Eureopean metropols, that should be appreciated and respected.
